A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY
A Message from Rev. Brewer
WRITTEN BY REV. WILLIAM A. BREWER, INTERIM PASTOR

Members and Friends of FMBC! I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I just want to take a moment to praise God for each of you, your faithful service, and your devotion to God and God’s people as the Body of Christ. May you continue to have unwavering faith as we move into the harvest season focused on renewal and rebirth,

I cordially invite you to our Wednesday Night Bible Study where we have been studying Spiritual Gifts and the important function of these gifts in our lives as Christians and within the Body of Christ. As we continue to our study and begin to identify our own individual spiritual gifts, may you remember the words of the Apostle Paul when he shared:
“There are different kinds of kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. - 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
I am delighted to report that we have begun work on a long-awaited project to improve our Audio/Visual Ministry. Upon entering the sanctuary, you will notice the first phase of the project - the installation of our Television Monitors. The project as a whole will be done in phases as more upgrades are needed, but we anticipate the project to be complete by the end of the month. I am excited that our church is moving in this direction as this will allow us to enhance our worship experiences and overall use of our church.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow and continued prayers and blessings upon you and your families on this journey of faith! Enjoy the artwork from our Youth Bible Study class!

ORDINANCES
FMBC is mandated by God to practice two ordinances:

BAPTISM – Baptism of believers by immersion in water symbolizes sincere faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection with the desire to walk in the newness of life.

THE LORD’S SUPPER/COMMUNION – The Lord’s Supper or Communion, commemorates Christ’s broken body and shed blood, giving each believer an opportunity for self-examination and rededication. These are not sacraments to earn salvation, but privileges granted by grace.

Mathew 28: 19-20; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26
